Using the Blog Editor

The Blog Editor provides you with a variety of tools to work with your blog posts:

  1. Click "New Blog" to create a new blog post.  See our Creating a Blog Post article for step-by-step instructions on how to create a new post.
  2. Click here to view only blog posts that are "Published" on your site, only "Unpublished" posts, or "Both".  You can click the "Sort By" button to sort the entries accordingly.  Enter text in the "Filter Blogs..." search box to find specific blogs.
  3. Select "ALL TAGS" to see all posts or filter the blog posts by a specific tag.
  4. Here you will see the name of the blog post, the status of the post ("P" if it's published on the site or "U" if it's unpublished), who the post was last updated by, and the date and time the post was last updated.
  5. Clicking the options icon on a blog post in the listing results in specific options for the post to include:
    • Edit Meta - Edit the meta information of a post.
    • Copy Blog (Published) and Copy Blog (Unpublished) - Create a copy of either the published or unpublished version of the post.
    • Change Blog Name - Change the name of the blog.
    • Inline Blog Editor - Edit the content of the blog post.
    • View Blog - View the blog landing page.
    • View Unpublished - View unpublished version of the blog post.
    • Delete Blog - Permanently delete the blog post.
    • Unpublish Blog - Unpublish the blog from the site (the blog post will still exist in the Blog Editor, but users will not be able to view it on the site).
