301 Redirects
According to Moz, A 301 redirect is a permanent redirect which passes between 90-99% of link juice (ranking power) to the redirected page. 301 refers to the HTTP status code for this type of redirect. In most instances, the 301 redirect is the best method for implementing redirects on a website.
You must be a SuperAdmin or an Admin with the Content Area role to access this feature.
Why they are useful
301 redirects are used to preserve your search engine rankings for a page that has had a URL change. They are also useful if you have recently moved your site to a new domain, you have multiple URLs, or you are merging two separate sites. It is considered the most efficient and "Search Engine Friendly" method for webpage redirection.
Select 301 Redirects from Admin > Content > 301 Redirects
WebAlliance 301 Redirects do not work with some E-Commerce pages such as ordering utilities.
