Duplicate User
This tool can be used to clone a user that already exists in your system and create another user that has similar information. This is useful if you want to create a user that only has a few small differences from another user.
To duplicate a user navigate to their User Detail page and select the "Duplicate User" button at the bottom.
Information in the User Info, Company Info, and Security and Access tabs will transfer over to the new user. Information from Multiple Cust Codes, Miscellaneous, User Stats, and OrderScan Client will not transfer over.
When you select that button, a pop-up window will appear letting you know what will and will not transfer over to the new user. By default, the new user's login will be disabled but you can enable it when the duplication is complete. If the user that is being duplicated is part of a User Group, they will only still be a part of the User Group if the group is based on the Customer Code since that will remain the same. Once you enter all of the new information select the "Duplicate User" button to finish the process.
Remember to enable login if you would like the user to be able to log on to their account. You can also edit any extra information you would like to while you are here. Don't forget to "Save" to finalize the process.
