Export Orders (Tax Reporting)

WebAlliance provides you with a tool to generate and download order data for the purposes of tax reporting.  This allows you to see information about tax that the website is generating on carts, as well as details of how the taxes were generated.  This is an especially useful tool when the tax method used to generate taxes on the website is not also integrated with your ERP.  

You have a variety of options to hone in on specific orders:

  1. Select a timeframe by month or by date range.
  2. Select if you want to only see orders where an address is manually entered.  Taxes are not calculated with ERP tax data in those instances.
  3. Filter the list by Customer Code, State, or ZipCode.  You can enter multiple values here by separating the values with commas.
  4. Preview the results that will be generated by the current filters.  Please note - the information displayed in the preview is only a portion of the data that will be exported. 
  5. Export the data.  You will receive an email with a link to download the exported file.

This is strictly the information gathered by WebAlliance when the user places an order on the website and does not reflect any changes to taxes that might have been made in your ERP after import.
