How do I enable Quick Checkout for an Order Template?
Quick Checkout is a feature that allows users the ability to place an order directly from an Order Template. This feature must be enabled in each individual Order Template.
Quick Checkout can be enabled by the owner of the template when they're connected to their Default Customer ID, or by a user who shares the same Default Customer ID as the owner and has "Edit" privileges for the template. SuperAdmin, and Admins with the Orders role can set up and modify quick checkout settings on an order template, including Order Templates that aren't assigned to their customer code.
The owner of the Order Template, a SuperAdmin, or an Admin with the Orders role will need to edit the template and click the "Allow Quick Checkout" checkbox.
- Select a Ship To for Quick Checkout. Only Ship To addresses that are assigned to the Customer ID of the template owner will be available selections. Select "Custom" from the list to manually enter a Ship To address.
- Select a Shipping Method for Quick Checkout. Some Shipping Methods will not be available for Quick Checkout (Will Call/Pickup and Collect aren't available, for instance).
- Click "Validate Shipping Methods" to validate the information selected for the template.
Be sure to click "Save" when you're done configuring Quick Checkout.
Users with the appropriate permissions will now see a "Quick Checkout" option on the Order Template. The Ship To and Shipping Method you selected for the template will be used for Quick Checkout. The user will only need to add a PO Number and submit the Quick Checkout order.
