Quote Notifications

 

Users can view quotes on the site, and then request those quotes be converted to an order.  When a quote is converted to an order, you will receive a notification email.

This email will be sent to the email address entered in the "New Quote Receiver" setting.  This setting is located under Site Manager > Settings > Email. There are certain settings that could affect who receives this email. See our Order and Quote Notification Receiver article for more information. 

Quote Submitted

The user can review quotes from their My Account page.  When viewing a particular quote, they have the option to "Submit Quote for Purchase".  An Admin will receive a notification when a user submits a quote.  You can review the request under "Submitted Quotes" in the Orders menu from the site Admin panel.

Quote Received

You also have the option to send a second email to the user once their quote has been imported. This email will be very similar to the first one except it would include the quote number from your ERP. To enable/disable these types of notification navigate to Site Manager > Settings > Optional Modules > Quote Requests > Configured Quote Notifications. 

You can change the contents of these email notifications by editing the "Quote Purchased" and the "Quote Received (Imported)" email templates, under Site Manager > Email Templates in the Admin panel.
