Inactive User Notify Wizard

 

This email job is designed to alert users that have approved accounts on the site but have been inactive for a certain period of time. 

Inactive User Notify Wizard - Step 1

  1. Set how often you want the job to run.
  2. Set the time at which you want this job to start running each day.
  3. Set the time you want the job to stop running each day.
  4. If you want all of the emails generated by the job to go to a specific email address instead of the inactive user, enter that email address in this field.
  5. Set the additional recipients of the automated email
  6. Set the additional recipients of the automated email; Other recipients won't be able to see that someone else has been sent a copy of the email using this method.
  7. Set the Email address you'd like to appear as the sender.
  8. Enter the text that you want to appear as the subject line for the Inactive User email.
  9. Set the maximum number of emails you want a particular user to receive.
  10. Set how many days you want there to be between consecutive emails to the same user.
  11. Set the minimum number of days you want the email job to wait after a user has been approved before it sends them their first email.
  12. Set the maximum number of days after the user has been approved that an email would still be sent.

Inactive User Notify Wizard - Step 2

On the second step, edit the template's HTML to change the email report that will be emailed. After you're done, click "Activate Notification".

You can always go back later to edit this template using the Email Templates tool.  The name of this email template is Automation Job - Notify Inactive Users.
