In-Chat User Info

 

During a chat session, you can view tons of useful information about the user you're talking to.

Most of the available information is self-explanatory. When the user is logged in to their WebAlliance account, though, WAChat does offer the operator several options for interacting with that user's information.

  1. Transfer the chat to another available operator.
  2. End the chat session. Be sure to print the chat session by clicking "Print Chat" at the bottom of the User Information pane before ending the chat if you'd like to keep a record of the conversation.
  3. Click the user's IP address to view geolocation information based on that user's IP address. That information is provided by KeyCDN.
  4. Click the username to view that user's WebAlliance User Detail page.
  5. Click the Cart Number to view that user's current cart information. From there, you can help users add items to their cart, and view information about their current unfinished shopping cart.
