Showing Alternate Price Information
The standard price that a user sees on the site is calculated using a combination of information about the user. If a price is shown, the user can add that item to their shopping cart.
You also have the option to display an alternate price reflecting a static price from your ERP system. This alternate price display has no effect on the shopping cart. It's simply a description.
You can use this feature to display the alternate price with any label you prefer.
How it Works

The alternate price is shown on the SKU and SKU Detail listings, when it's enabled.
The alternate price is intended purely for display. An item will never be added to the cart at the alternate price. Because the alternate price isn't calculated, it will show the same price to all users. As part of the setup, though, you can choose to hide this alternate price from anonymous users.
This price is not connected to the standard calculated price. Features that take actions on the calculated price will not affect the alternate price. For instance, the Disable Pricing and Purchasing feature on a User Profile will hide the calculated price, but will not hide the alternate price. The user wouldn't see the calculated price, or be able to add the item to the cart, but they would see the alternate price.
You can also use this in combination with Search Sort Configuration, which you can use to allow users to sort search results by a static price field. With Search Sort Configuration, users could sort search results by the same price field your site displays as the alternate price (though you can select a different price field as the sortable field). See more about Search Sort Configuration in this article.
To show an alternate price for your items, determine the label you'd like to show, which static price from your ERP system you want to show and whether you want to display the alternate price to anonymous users. Then contact Aldrich Web Solutions to enable this feature on your website.
