Prevent Certain Customer's Orders from Importing

Using the setting "Prevent Orders From Importing From Customer Codes" you can configure your site to prevent orders from certain users from importing automatically.

You will find this setting in Site Manager  > Shopping  > Anonymous in the site Admin panel.

Your site must have the optional "Anonymous Shopping" module in order to use this feature. If you are interested in using the module please contact Aldrich Web Solutions for information.

Select "Configure" next to the "Prevent Orders From Importing From Customer Codes" setting to start the process.

From this screen simply enter the Customer Code of the user you would like to prevent order imports for. Select "Add Value" if you would like to add more than one user.

If a user whose Customer Code is entered here attempts to place an order they will be able to checkout normally on their end. On the Admin side, you will be able to see that the order will not import by viewing the cart on your site. An example of a cart that will not import due to this setting is shown below.

From the user's perspective, the order is complete.  They are not notified that the order has been held, and will expect their order to ship just like any other user.  The goal is that you will update the Customer Code on the held order and allow it to import into your ERP.
