Approve Quote as an Order
If a user's assigned Customer Code has active quotes in your ERP system, that user can visit My Account and www.yourDomain.com/myaccount/erpquotelist to see those quotes. From there, the user can request that a quote be converted to an order.
This is the one method of ordering on the website that does not involve the shopping cart. If a user requests a quote be converted to an order, a site Admin will receive an email notification. Then, the quote must be converted in your ERP system from a quote to an order.
User Input
First, the user selects an available quote

This can come from My Account at www.yourDomain.com/myaccount/myaccount or the Quote List at www.yourDomain.com/myaccount/erpquotelist
Next, the user submits the quote as a purchase
This is an optional feature, enabled by default.
The quote interface displays item pricing on that quote based on the pricing from the quote in the ERP system. Since in this case the items are never added to the website Shopping Cart, the website's pricing doesn't affect the pricing of the items on the quote.
Note that, from here, the user cannot add or remove items, or change quantities for the order. This is a direct representation of the quote that exists in your ERP system.
The user just needs to enter a PO number and any special instructions (like a requested quantity change, additional items, or shipping instructions), then click "Submit Quote For Purchase"
The user will see a message confirming their request. That's the end of the user's interaction.
Administrator Tasks
When a user requests a quote be converted to an order, an Admin user will receive an email with an alert. Once the Admin has received that email, 2 things need to happen:
Convert the Quote to an Order in your ERP system
Systems vary, so consult your ERP system user's guide for instructions on completing this task.
Acknowledge the Quote conversion in the WebAlliance Admin panel
After you've converted the quote in your ERP system, confirm the conversion in the WebAlliance Submitted Quotes Admin interface.
At this point, the order should only be dealt with in your ERP system.
Settings
You can enable or disable the ability for users to access this feature, as well as provide the option to choose only certain items from the quote to submit for purchase. You will find these settings in the Site Settings in the Admin panel, under Shopping > Quote.
Quote Purchase Via Email: This will enable or disable the feature. With it disabled, the user will not see the "Purchase Quote" section beneath quotes.
Enable Cherry Picking Quote Items: This setting allows users the option to pick only certain items from a quote to add to the cart instead of being required to add the entire quote to the cart. This also allows users to adjust quantities or remove items from a cart created from a quote.
