Row View on SKU Listings
There are 2 display options available through Category Content - SKUs or Rows. Row view is a structured, compact view of the item data that allows you to highlight up to 4 of your most important filters in the category, but it loses some of the functionality of the SKU view.
For example, display in Row View requires users to go to the Item Details page to add items to their Favorites or Wish Lists, or to see all of the specifications for an item.
Turning on Row View

Row view is enabled through the Category Header interface under Content > Category Content in the website's Admin panel. Simply select the category you want to display in row view, and then select "Rows" as Item Display Type from the Item Display Options section.
Click the "Click Here" button to preview your category's items in Row View.
Row view goes hand-in-hand with Featured Search Result Filters on category content. Select up to 4 of the most important filters for the items in the selected category, and they will be displayed in columns of item data in row view.
Grouping by Column in Row View
- Item, Price and Inventory will be displayed by default. Clicking "Item" will group the items in the category by item codes. You can't group the items in the category by Price or Inventory.
- The columns between Item and Price will be based on what you selected in Featured Search Result Filters when you set up the category header. Clicking on any of these columns will group the items by the data from that column.
The category page groups by the values of the attributes applied in the current category. In the above example, the current category is "Drills". If the "Number of Flutes" attribute had been applied at the Parent category, "Cutting Tools", then the "Group By" function in the Row View of "Drills" wouldn't work for "Number of Flutes".
