Alternate Item Variations Display
The default method of loading Item Variations from the SKU can be seen in the Item Variations on SKU Listings article. If you prefer a cleaner, more simple display of the variation group, there is an alternate view you can enable.
Instead of loading the Variation Group items individually below the SKU, it will take the user to a new page. The selected attributes for the group (up to 4) will be displayed. Selecting combinations of the attributes will display the details for the item that matches the selected combination. The item can then be easily added to the cart.
If multiple items match the selected combination, a list of those items will be displayed for the user to choose from.
This alternate display is not the SKU Detail page, it's just a different way of viewing the Variation Group data. You can still view the original SKU Detail page by clicking the Item Number.
