Inventory Display
SKU and SKU Detail Inventory View
The Inventory View is the section on the SKU and SKU Detail that shows the inventory available for that item. This text is editable via the Inventory Configurator Tool. The quantities used in the tool are updated along with your scheduled data update.

Real-time inventory is available on the SKU and SKU Detail. Contact Aldrich Web Solutions to enable real-time inventory (rather than the cached "data update" inventory counts).
Real-time inventory display can slow down page loading times, and can potentially impact the responsiveness of your ERP system.
Inventory Detail View
You can enable or disable whether the user has access to the inventory detail view for a specific inventory scenario from the from the Inventory Configurator Tool.

The Inventory Detail view is available upon clicking the inventory link described above, and it's available from the Shopping Cart. This view displays location-specific inventory levels that are up-to-the-second real-time.
The list of inventory locations presented here is sorted in a specific way. The first location in the list will always be the default location of the user clicking the link. From there, the order of locations is determined by proximity to the user's default location. The closest location to the user's default location will appear next, then the next closest location until all locations have been listed.

If ever there is an occasion in which there is no location information available, the customer will receive the above message.
The following settings Under Products > Inventory > Real-Time Inventory in the site settings give you some control over what shows in the Inventory Details view.
- Only Show User Default Location On Real Time Inventory: This will limit the list of locations shown to just the user's Default Location (from their User Details).
- Due in Info For Inventory Details: This will enable or disable the Due In column of the Inventory Details.
It's possible that the SKU/SKU Detail inventory view will NOT match up with the Inventory Detail view. If an item has been sold since the most recent data update, the SKU view will show a higher number than are actually available. However, the Inventory Detail view is always up to date.
