How do I create a link to download a PDF?
In the Content Builder, you can set links that allow your users to download documents like ZIP files, PDFs, and Excel sheets.
Enter Edit mode of the page where the link will live
Log in as a Content Admin or SuperAdmin, visit the page you want to edit, and click "Edit this page" in the upper right-hand corner of the browser window.
Create the link anchor and edit it to include a link
This could be text or an image. Highlight existing text and select the "link" icon from the text formatting bar. Or use drag-and-drop snippets to put an image in place on the page. Then hover over the image and click the orange "link" button.
NOTE: we'll use an image link as an example for this article, but the steps to make text into a download link are the same.
Click the "Link" button in the link popup box

When creating a link to download a file, DO NOT set the target to "New Window" or "Popup Window".
Use the Asset Manager to select the downloadable file
Either select a document that's already in the Asset Manager or click "Add File(s)" in the upper right-hand corner to upload a new document.
Hover over the document and click the green "Select" icon to set the link. Then click "OK" on the link popup box.
NOTE: The Asset Manager has a 10 MB file size upload limit. If you try to upload a file larger than that, it won't work.
Check out "Working with PDFs" for tips on reducing file size of a PDF.
Click "Save" then "Publish to Site" to make your link active
See "Save vs Publish to Site" for other options.
