Using the Video Snippets

The Content Builder provides several snippets that allow you to embed a YouTube video on your content page. Of course, you can manually embed any sort of HTML content on any content page, but the snippets make it very easy. Here's how it works:

Inside the content builder, use the drop-down list to select "Video" snippets

Once you've done that, you'll see several options for including embedded YouTube videos on your page. Select the snippet you wish to use, and drag-and-drop it to the desired spot on your content page.

The embed tool here is optimized for YouTube video embedding. If you need to embed other types of video players (like Vimeo or Wistia, for example), you'll need to embed the video as that particular player requires.

Upon clicking "Edit Link", you'll be able to enter the YouTube embed link. Note that you don't need to enter the full YouTube embed script - only the URL part. Read on for details.

Grab the embed URL from YouTube

1) Click "Share"

2) Click "Embed"

3) Select only the part of the URL highlighted in this image. The Video snippets don't require the rest of the code.

Paste the copied YouTube URL into the "Edit Link" box on your content page and click OK

Now, the YouTube video is embedded on the page
