Using GIF Files on Content Builder Pages
GIF files can't be uploaded through the Content Builder itself, but you absolutely can use them inside your content. To include an animated GIF file on your WebAlliance content page, category header, or brand/supplier content entry follow these steps.
First, upload the GIF using the File Manager
The File Manager is available via the Admin panel under the Content menu. Simply navigate to the directory you want to use for GIF files and upload your file via drag-and-drop or via the "Add Files" button.
Next, add an image using the Content Builder
We'll use the Content Builder tools to locate and select the GIF uploaded through the File Manager. Hover over the image and click the orange "Edit Link" button to update the image.
Third, replace the placeholder image with the GIF
Click the GIF you want to use to select it. Then click the "Select" checkmark to apply the image.
Now the animated GIF is applied to the Content Builder section. Click "Save" and "Publish to Site" to make it visible on the site.
