Editing Text in the Content Builder
You have access to powerful text editing tools when you are working with text in Content Builder snippets.
When you click in a part of a snippet that contains text, a text editing bar will display on the left-hand side of the screen. The text editing bar has a variety of powerful text editing tools. Some of the text editing functions require that text be selected, others will affect the whole block of text, and some will insert a new element on to the page.
Most of the options are universal and self-explanatory, and you can read more about the advanced options below.

The Text Settings button has several options:
- Font Size - Adjusts the font size of the selected text or section.
- Letter Spacing - Adjusts the amount of space between the characters in the section of text you are working in.
- Line Height - Adjusts the line height of the section of text you are working in.
- Reset - Sets the section of text back to its original settings. NOTE: Once you leave Text Settings, it will not be possible to Reset the changes from the Text Settings button. You can still use the Clean button on the main text editing bar to remove most formatting.
Hover over the setting and use the mouse scroll wheel to adjust the setting up or down by 1. This gives you the ability to make finer adjustments to the setting than you can with the slider.

The Color button allows you to change the color of the text or the background behind the text. From the drop-down select either "Text Color" or "Background" and then select a color.

The Font button changes the font of the selected text or section.
Not all fonts are created equal! Most fonts in the list are free and users will be able to see the font just as you see it when you're designing the page. Other fonts such as Arial, Georgia, and Helvetica Neue, for instance, are fonts that will only display correctly if the user has the font installed on their computer. If the user doesn't have those fonts installed, they will see still see the text, but it will appear in a different font that is available. Fonts starting with "Abel" and below in the font list are free web fonts.

The Paragraph button gives you an option to make a section of text into a heading or will change an existing heading back to regular paragraph text.

The table button inserts an HTML table with the number of rows and columns you specify. It also provides some customization tools for background colors, borders, etc.
HTML tables may not scale well when viewed on mobile devices. The WebAlliance snippets are designed to be responsive to screen size, but the tables you add inside those snippets are not. View the pages you add tables to on mobile devices in order to make sure they look the way you would expect them to.

The Image button adds an inline image to the page. You will still have the same image editing tools for these images as you would with the images that come as part of a snippet. You can resize the image after you have placed it. Remember to optimize any images you place in a content page to prevent the page from loading slowly.

The Icon button provides you with a wide variety of web optimized icons to insert into your content page. Once you have placed the icon, you also have the ability to adjust the size and color of it through the Icon menu.

The Clean button clears the formatting from the selected text.

The HTML button lets you view the raw HTML code for the entire page.
