Using the Map Snippets

The WebAlliance Content Builder contains a snippet that allows you to embed a Google Map inside your content page. Here are the steps to customize the map.

Inside the Content Builder

From the Content Builder Screen, Select "Map" from the Snippet Drop-Down Menu

From inside of the Content Manager, click on the drop-down box in the top right-hand corner and select 'Map'. Then, choose any available snippet, and drag it to the desired position on your page.

Visit maps.google.com For a Map Embed Code

At maps.google.com, enter the desired address in the search bar and copy the embed code for the map that is generated.

If you're not sure how to obtain the embed code, visit this Google Support link for more instructions. See below for an example of an embed code.

Edit the Map Snippet on the Content Page

To change the displayed map in the snippet, hover over the map and click "Edit Link" at the top left.

Then, simply replace the embed code with the embed code found in the previous step. Click "OK" and the map will update to display your defined location.
