MaxMind Settings
These settings are related to the third-party MaxMind minFraud protection service that can be integrated with the website. This service will check credit card transactions against a set of pre-determined criteria to determine if the order can proceed, or will be rejected. An active MaxMind minFraud account is required for these settings to work. MaxMind is a third-party developer that we are not affiliated with. We only provide an integration to their service through these settings.
Turns on the MaxMind fraud check service on the site. A MaxMind account is required.
MaxMind Failure Message
This is the message that will display to a user when a transaction exceeds the MaxMind Max Fraud Score that you have set.
MaxMind User ID
This is your MaxMind User ID.
MaxMind License Key
This is the License Key MaxMind has provided you with for your account.
MaxMind Fraud Score
MaxMind will use criteria you have set up in your MaxMind account to determine a score for a credit card transaction. If the transaction score generated for an order exceeds the number you enter in this setting, the transaction will be rejected and the user will see the message you entered in the Fraud Score Failure Message setting. Otherwise, the order will proceed as normal. This is required to be a number between 0 and 100.
