How do I enable ship-pricing for UPS Freight?

WebAlliance can display shipping estimates, based on the total weight of the order. This article contains instructions from UPS for enabling your MyUPS account to receive rates for LTL Freight. The instructions here assume you've already obtained your My UPS ID and Access Key as outlined in the article "How do I enable ship pricing for UPS?"

First, Register with My LTL

After obtaining your My UPS ID and Access Key as outlined within the UPS Developer Kit User Guide go to http://ltl.upsfreight.com/ and select “Register".

Select "Yes, I have a My UPS ID and Password" and click "Next"

After you Log In, you'll be redirected to a page that displays "Negotiated Rates Enrollment Information"

Please Note:

To view Negotiated Rates for shipping and rating LTL Freight shipments from additional Origin Locations please enter the following in the bottom field:

  • 1. Company Name,
  • 2. Street Address,
  • 3. City,
  • 4. State,
  • 5. Zip/Postal Code

Please ensure that the exact format is followed and one line is used for each additional Origin Location for which you would like to view Negotiated Rates using the LTL Freight APIs.

If changes additions/deletions/edits need to be made to this list you must contact your LTL Freight Sales Professional to make changes.

 

Click "Finish" to submit the request to UPS. UPS will review the request, and once it's approved, you'll receive a confirmation email.

Once you have received the confirmation email from LTL Freight group you are ready to view Negotiated Rates within the LTL Freight APIs.

Aldrich Web Solutions will need your login and API Access Key information to configure shipping estimates for each of your locations. If you're also showing estimates for other UPS shipping methods (UPS Ground, UPS Next Day, etc.) the same credentials will be used.
