Maintaining Disk Space on the Gateway Server

Keeping plenty of free disk space on the gateway server is very important in keeping your website functioning properly. If your gateway server's disk fills up, your item data and item images won't be able to update, website orders will fail to process, and item pricing - as well as My Account functions - will be unavailable.

Maintenance of the gateway server is the responsibility of the client. Of course, Aldrich Web Solutions is happy to provide any advice that might help you keep your gateway server running optimally.

Safe locations for clearing disk space

WebAlliance does create several log files that can safely be removed from the gateway, in order to preserve free disk space. You can feel free to remove any log file older than 7 days from these folders:

  • C:\Weballiance\GatewayServices\wa_cc_invoice_service65\Logs
  • C:\Weballiance\GatewayServices\wa_cc_price_service65\Logs
  • C:\OrderPickup\Logs

Also, feel free to run the Windows Disk Cleanup tool to remove old Windows Update temp files, temporary internet files, etc.
