Purchase Multiples
You can set WebAlliance to sell your items in multiples for individual items.
Contact Aldrich Web Solutions to configure the field you'll use to define those multiples.
An Example
Let's say you have an item, ABC123. It's a pair of gloves, sold by the EA, but they must be sold 12 at a time. Your website uses a simple UOM framework that sells items by the Default Selling Unit, but you can use a defined field to tell WebAlliance how many of the Default Selling Unit must be purchased at a time.
So for ABC123, you can enter 12 in the assigned Purchase Multiples field. Then, following the next 4-hour data update, that item will only be purchasable on the site in quantities of 12 EA.
The "Purchase Multiple" interval is enforced in item listings, quick order, order upload, and order templates. However, if a user really needs to order a quantity outside of your specified interval, they can manually update the quantity in the Shopping Cart itself. The "Purchase Multiple" interval is not enforced there.
This is not advertised or mentioned on the site. It's meant to be a last-resort way for you to coach your users on ordering specific quantities of an item.
