Privacy Settings
From the "Privacy" page in My Account, your users can take some steps to update their information on your WebAlliance website.

Subscribe to Marketing Emails
When a user updates the "Subscribe to Marketing Emails" box, their "User Stats" tab in User Details is updated to read either "Marketing Opt-In: Yes" or "Marketing Opt-In: No".
You can see the opt-in status of all of your website's users in the User Profile List.
Forget Me
A user can click "Forget Me" to tell WebAlliance to "forget" about their account. That includes removing the following:
- Order templates owned by this user
- The user's Wish Lists
- The user's Favorite Item records
- References to the user in Admin stat reports, like the Email Log and the Search Stats log
- The user's full web account
Note that this does not affect your ERP in any way.
A user can only "forget" their own web account.
When a user requests "Forget Me", they'll receive an email noting that it happened. Your website's "New User Notification" email address will also receive the email, and the message will not appear in the website's Email Log.
