Print Barcode Labels
Users enabled for OrderScan (from the user's account on the "OrderScan Client" tab of their User Detail page) as well as all SuperAdmins and Admins for websites with access to WebAlliance Mobile will see a "Print Barcode Labels" link on their My Account page.
This gives the user a couple of options to make lists of items with corresponding barcodes or QR codes which can be scanned and turned into orders through the OrderScan application.

- Select a source for your barcode data. You can generate barcodes from the following sources: Favorites categories, Order Templates, Wish Lists, Orders, and Invoices.
- Once you have selected the source, you will need to select either the name (for Favorites, Order Templates, or Wish Lists) or number (for Orders or Invoices) of the source that contains the items you want to use.
- Check "QR Codes" box to generate QR Codes. Otherwise, standard (Code 39) barcodes will be generated.
- You do have the ability to specify the starting offset of the barcode. This will allow you to print to a sheet of partially used labels as necessary. For instance, if you have a sheet where the first row of 4 labels has been previously used, you can set the offset to 5 to start the new labels on the second row.
Click the "Download PDF" button to create a printable PDF file with barcodes for each item.
NOTE: Item numbers are used to generate barcodes. Item numbers that have special characters in them that aren't compatible with Code 39 barcodes will not be displayed on the PDF. For example, an item number containing a comma would not be displayed. Generally, Code 39 barcodes will only work with letters, numbers, dashes, and some other special characters. For a full list, click this link.
Any unsupported special characters used in item numbers will prevent that item from generating a barcode.
