Admin - Emulate a User
WebAlliance allows a site Admin to emulate a user in order to troubleshoot that user's account. You will view the site as the emulated user would, including their pricing, invoices, and shopping cart. Be sure to log out of the site and log in again as your Admin account when you're finished.
Note: This function is only available to Administrators (SuperAdmins and Admins with the Users Area role), and it cannot be used to emulate other Administrator accounts. You can only emulate accounts with the Security Level of "User", "SuperUser", "Retail User" or "Employee".
From the User Details page
Search for the user you want to emulate from the User's List under the "Users" tab in the admin panel. Navigate to the User Details page for that User and select the "Emulate User" button at the bottom of the page as shown above. When you're finished, be sure to log out of the site. Log back in with your regular username to regain access.
Emulating from My Account page

As an Admin or SuperAdmin you can also go to the "My Account" page and select "Emulate User" from inside the Admin Tools section. Then just enter the username, email, or customer code of the user you would like to emulate and select "Emulate User."
Click "Continue" to use the site as the selected user
After you click continue, you'll be using the site as the selected user. When you're finished, be sure to log out of the site. Log back in with your regular username to regain access.
