Security Levels
WebAlliance offers 6 levels of user access. The access level must be set on a per-user basis from the User Detail screen's "Security & Access" tab. View a report of all users connected to a given access level on the Security Report page.
User
B2B users will almost always be set up with "User" access. It's the standard access level for your customers. Users set up with "User" access will not have access to any Admin features.
User - Account Access

When a web user is set up with "User" access, you can refine it further by enabling or disabling access to the sections of the site listed under "Account Access".
RetailUser
Any users that are associated with your "retail" customer code (Cash Sales, Front Counter Sales, etc.) should be configured with "RetailUser" access. Setting a user up as a RetailUser will deny them access to things like Invoices, Orders, and Statements (as the P21 customer code is shared with other unrelated users). It also restricts the user to payment via Credit Card at checkout, and restricts that user to entering a manual shipping address, rather than a predefined P21 Ship To address.
Access to the sections listed under the Users - Account Access section (see above) are automatically disabled for RetailUser accounts.
SuperUser
"SuperUser" accounts have all the same rights as "User" accounts, with one important addition. SuperUsers act as an adminstrator for users from their company. Each SuperUser can manage users who share their default customer code.
A SuperUser whose default customer code is 12345 could use a tool in My Account called "Manage Users" to manage (with limited access) users who also have default customer code 12345. That SuperUser could also create new users with the default customer code 12345.
All other SuperUser functions are the same as User functions. They're treated as B2B users.
Employee
This access level is used for the Sales Rep Module. It's similar to the User access level, but has added permissions so that sales reps have the ability to view ERP information.
Admin

Admin access should be given to your employees who will deal with the Admin sections of the website. With "Admin" selected, you can allow or deny access to any of the listed areas of the website. The listed areas coincide with the Admin options listed under each heading at the Admin2 page. If you click the 'Need Help' button when using any of the admin features on the site, the manual article for that feature will tell you which admin role is required to use it.
*None of your customers should be set up as an Admin user*
SuperAdmin
SuperAdmin access should be given to your website's administrators who need access to all aspects of the site. This access level grants the selected user access to all aspects of the website.
