App Settings
WebAlliance Mobile provides access to some additional settings.
Accessing the Settings
From the WebAlliance Mobile admin page (Additional Modules>WebAlliance Mobile), click either "Settings" from the top navigation or "Manage" under App Settings to access the WebAlliance Mobile settings page.
Contact Information

Enter the proper phone number and email address for your mobile presence. These values appear in several places throughout the app, including the "Contact Us" screen.
Description Field

Enter your preferred field to use as the item description on the WAMobile SKU and SKU Detail. This value is case-sensitive, and your options are:
- PartDesc (for the ERP's short description)
- ExtDesc (for the ERP's extended description)
- Web_Desc (for the value from the User Defined Field called web_desc)
- Web_Short_Desc (for the value from the User Defined Field called web_short_desc)
If you leave the "SKU and SKU Detail description" setting blank, WebAlliance Mobile will use the same description as is shown in the WebAlliance Online Shopping Cart display.
On the WAMobile SKU Detail listing, you'll find a "Description" box. That box will always show the web_desc value (if it exists). If that value doesn't exist, you'll see the value from the ERP's Extended Description.
WebAlliance Chat

If WebAlliance Chat is enabled for your website, you can enable WebAlliance Chat for the mobile application. This will allow users to start a live chat directly from the app.
Marketing Pop-up

Disable the pop-up that appears when the user adds an item to the cart in the mobile application.
Responsive Banner

This tool provides a great opportunity to market your mobile application to users that are already accessing your website through a mobile device. You can use this setting to display a banner on the home page that will take them to either:
- Your WebAlliance Mobile Application (if the user has it installed).
- Or the appropriate Mobile App Store (if the user does not have it installed).
The banner will only appear on the home page if the user is viewing the website on a mobile device.
There is additional configuration required to implement this feature. Contact Aldrich Web Solutions to complete the configuration.
Hide Inventory Details inside the Mobile App

By default, WebAlliance Mobile shows by-location inventory details. These details display on each Item Detail page or in Inventory Details in the Shopping Cart. Using this option, you can choose whether or not to hide those inventory details.
Mobile App Specific Inventory Display
You can set up mobile app-specific inventory display using the "Location Inventory" path in the Inventory Display Configuration Tool. Within the tool, you will find that under the "Location Inventory" path there is a property called "Is Mobile Inventory". This allows you to specify a unique inventory display for the Mobile App.
