Using Offline Mode

 

Offline Mode allows WebAlliance Mobile application users to create an order from a Wish List, Favorites List or Order Template with their mobile device even when they don't have access to mobile data or wi-fi.  They can then complete the order when they go back online.

Syncing Data

Users will need to sync the data they want to use in Offline Mode.  From the WAMobile application, simply go to My Account and select any of "Favorites", "Order Templates", or "Wish Lists".

Click the "sync" icon to make the data available offline.

When a user is offline, they will have access to the data they synced.  From the home screen, select which set of offline data to access or tap "Manage Queue" to remove previously queued data.

Add the items from a Wish List, Favorites List or Order Template to the cart.  Items added to the cart when offline will be saved to the queue so that they can be easily added to the cart when a user gets back online.

A user can even use Order Template Quick Checkout while offline, provided the Order Template has been synced to their device. When the app is online again, the user can process the Quick Checkout session using the "Manage Queue" function.
