Mobile Push Notifications
Push Notifications are automated messages sent by an application to a User when the application is not open. If a User has installed the app and enabled Push Notifications, they can be sent out by the app publisher at any time. Web Alliance has a user-friendly dashboard to manage Push Notifications.
Push notifications are an optional module. If you're interested in using Push Notifications please contact the Aldrich Web Solutions sales department for more information.
Dashboard
You can access the Push Notification dashboard by navigating to Additional Modules > WebAlliance Mobile and selecting the Push Notification link while logged in as an admin. Alternatively, you can also use this link www.yourdomain.com/appadmin/mobileappconfig/notifications/dashboard.
The Web Alliance Push Notification dashboard gives a brief overview containing useful information such as Notification Users Enabled, Total Users, and Notifications Sent This Month. This screen also contains multiple Push Notification templates for you to use and edit to your liking.
Devices
The Device screen provides information on the Mobile App Users' device details, as well as some useful purchase information. This screen is also used to trigger the sending of a Push Notification to the User.
History
The History screen provides a detailed overview of the past Push Notifications that have been sent. An Admin can also see the Dates Sent, Executing User, Recipients, Message, Action URL, Target Data, etc.
New Message
In the New Message tab, an Admin has the ability to customize a Push Notification to their liking. They have the freedom to select their Target, Title, App Link, and Push Notification Message to be displayed. The Panel also displays a preview window of what the Push Notification will look like before sending.

In the action portion of the message, you will need to decide where the Push Notification will link a User upon clicking the Push Notification. You have multiple selections to pick from in the drop-down such as Category, Content Webpage, Part #, Item Detail page, My Account, Root Category, Barcode, or a specific Search Result.
