Barcode Scanning for Item Search

 

You can use WebAllliance Online to generate barcodes for easy item-centric searching in WebAlliance Mobile, and for use with barcode scanners if you have the OrderScan optional module.  

If your website has enabled WebAlliance Mobile, Admins and SuperAdmins will also have access to generate barcodes from the website's My Account tools.  

How to obtain QR Codes or Barcodes

  1. Log in to the website.
  2. Visit "My Account".
  3. Click "Print Barcode Labels".
  4. Select a source, including Wish Lists, Favorites, and existing Orders.
  5. Choose whether to download QR Codes or Code 39 Barcodes.
  6. Download PDF.

Each barcode generated here represents an Item ID.

NOTE: The PDFs generated by this tool are tailored to fit Letter Sized Avery® L5160 Label Sheets. Print the PDF on that type of sheet for peel-and-stick labels that represent each Item ID.

How to search via Barcode/QR Code scanning

  1. Tap the barcode icon in the app's search bar.
  2. Allow access to the device's camera (if necessary).
  3. Scan the code to search for the related item.
