A User's Shopping Cart Won't Load
Occasionally, a user will not be able to load their Shopping Cart. The screen will read "Loading and Pricing Cart Items" and the items will never fully load. This is usually due to an invalid item in the cart.
If a user reports this issue, the best fix is to reset that user's Shopping Cart to an empty cart. Then, they can add the items back to their cart and check out again.
Find the user account in the User List and go to the "User Stats" tab
First, click the cart number next to "Current Cart" to see the items included in the user's existing cart.
The current cart details will open in a new tab. In certain cases the Current Cart won't open, so you won't be able to get a list of items in the user's cart. If that's the case, please contact Aldrich Solutions to obtain a list of the items in the cart. If the user doesn't require a list of items, you can skip this step and go straight to the "Go to the "User Stats" tab of the User Details to reset the cart" step below.
Next, note the items under "Cart Items"
The cart will have a status of "OPEN", meaning it hasn't yet started to go through the checkout process.
Make a note of the Part Numbers, include the "Order Qty", "UOM", and "Price" of each entry.
Go to the "User Stats" tab of the User Details page to reset cart
After you've noted all of the items in the cart, you can click the "Reset" button next to the "Current Cart" number. This will clear the user's existing cart completely. Resetting the cart will get rid of any corrupt element of the user's current cart.
Provide the user with the list of items from their cart, and ask them to try it again
The user should be able to add their items back to the cart and check out without issue.
If the cart still won't load after this step, please contact Aldrich Web Solutions.
